Alarm systems have been used for decades to ensure the safety of a variety of buildings and residences though there are some interesting new types of alarms to have been introduced to the public which aren’t yet entirely proven as suitable methods of alarm monitoring. A relatively new addition to the world of alarm monitoring is the piezo-electric component which is made to be very sensitive to vibrations and can be tuned very tightly versus standard mechanical circuitry. These devices have not been in existence for many years and are rather expensive, which sometimes deters people from purchasing the devices.
