Title: | The Beginnings of Xerography |
Description: | Modern citizens all around the world are easily able to make copies of just about any printed matter they want thanks to various copy machines and a Long Island copies service but the earliest example of making copies was a process developed by a man named Chester Carlson who invented a process of copying in 1937 through the use of electrostatic energy. This process was later to be responsible for the creation of the Xerox Corporation in 1950 which is still in business today. The meaning of the word Xerography means "dry writing" and comes from the Greek language. |
